In response to: 5 Simple Steps to Overcoming Fear of Public Speaking for Geeks

Steve,

you do realize I just used Odeo's embedded player right? It's not called content scraping, because that is the exact purpose of embedded players. Just as YouTube enables people to embed video on blogs, Odeo enables people to embed audio on their blogs. If you do not want this, I suggest you do not submit your audio to Odeo (and if you did not submit it yourself, you should contact Odeo directly).

That said, I've removed the embedded player upon your request and linked to both Odeo and your site, and also would like to take the opportunity to say I'm a big fan of your blog :)

Please don't use an embedded player to play my podcasts through your site. That practice is known as content scraping, and it's illegal to do so with copyrighted content such as my podcasts. If you want to link to those podcasts, feel free to link to the audio section at www.stevepavlina.com/audio -- but don't scrape other people's copyrighted content for your own site.
